Women's Sailing Program 2013

Sailing starts in May 

Every Thursday from May 23rd through Labor Day Weekend, we meet at the clubhouse at noon with our lunch, exchange tips on sailing and racing and leave for the dock at 12:30pm to sail, weather permitting.

The last Thursday of June, July and August we have an evening sail with a potluck dinner following which men are welcome to attend. 

This program is designed for novice to experienced sailors. If you are completely new to sailing we recommend enrolling in one of the Greenwich Community Sailing classes for basic instruction first:  GCS Adult Instruction Programs

Requirements

All participants must attend one of the Mandatory Sailfleet meetings:  May 5th at 2PM or May 25th at 2PM. 

In order to skipper an Ideal 18 a member must be certified. The requirements for certification are covered during the Mandatory meeting listed above.  Check the online Club calendar for Sail Fleet Certification dates and the Low Water tours. 

All Life members must have launch service to participate.
