Dee Dee Alaimo:  Rear Commodore

As the new Rear Commodore I am looking forward to an exciting OGYC season. We are planning activities that will be lots of fun and help bolster the wonderful spirit of community we enjoy at the club. These will include our standby events such as the Lobster Fest and newer ones like the Southern BBQ as well as informal dinners/parties after evening racing or regattas. We are reinstating the Friday evening Sundowners.

Click on Our Calendar in the left margin and then on the event of interest. Some of these, you will notice, will require pre-registration to attend.

Enjoy the deck, with its panoramic views across the Cove and Captain’s Harbor, which is available for casual cook-out style dining.

Some housekeeping rules: Leave the clubhouse and surroundings in better condition than you found it. Food scraps invite raccoons. Please wipe down the grills, tables and stack the chairs. When using the grills, be sure to turn off the gas and close the valve on the tanks.

The Clubhouse is not available for personal functions and may not be reserved for any non-club event.

Welcome aboard,

Dee Dee
