The Old Greenwich Yacht Club welcomes Greenwich residents with an interest in boating and water-based activities who wish to make the most of living on Long Island Sound. With our home port at Greenwich Point, OGYC provides an ideal location to enjoy one the town's finest resources.
Member events are conducted year round and we have an exciting programs planned for varied interests. These include cruising events, day and evening sailing, racing, kayaking, paddle boarding, family fishing days, winter open houses, social events, ladies weekly sailing, and numerous educational opportunities. Information regarding program activities is available through the calendar on this web site.
During the winter months we host public Open Houses on Sunday afternoons from late February to early April, 2-4pm. Come down to see the clubhouse and meet our members. Click the calendar link in the column to the left for more details.
Please note: OGYC provides launch service for members with boats moored in Greenwich Cove. Moorings are obtained through the Harbormaster and Town of Greenwich. Rack storage for kayaks is handled by the Town. For additional information click Greenwich Marine Facilities.
