Safe Boating Course

Safe Boating Certification
Two Saturdays: May 12 and 19 9 am – 1 pm
Students will learn the basics of boat handling and seamanship, what to do in adverse conditions, tying mariner knots and when to use themundefinedand an introduction to charting and coastal navigation. All graduating students will have a free six-month membership to
Greenwich Squadron and be eligible to obtain the Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate. Personal watercraft certification option is available.
Students will obtain the course book one week ahead and be expected to have
reviewed this prior to the first class.
$70 tuition payable on registration includes textbook and CD undefined family discounts available.
Class fee includes coffee and lunch.
