The OGYC Annual Fall Picnic
The Annual Picnic is our celebration of the boating season. Recall the pleasures of summer days passed by joining your fellow Members in this annual ritual.
Normal fare includes the awarding the prizes for the USS America Regatta held earlier in the day. Please register for the Regatta separately here. Competitors are automatically registered for the Picnic.
This year will be different in two ways.
Father Deluca will provide a short commemoration of the victims of 9/11.
The raffle has been converted into a silent auction to raise funds for the "Sailing for All" campaign - to provide Greenwich Community Sailing scholarships for under-served Greenwich kids. We are expecting a big turn out for this both through generous auction gifts and bids.
The event is free for members and their immediate families. Guests are $10.
The event is free to get a great turn out. But it requires that we all volunteer in some capacity to make it happen. When you register, select the volunteer role you find most interesting and help make it all fun.
